In what way? I thought the app is very intuitive to use and has a nice design.

Keep using the fucking app and you'll know.
      A few points:
      - no way to easily copy links
      - no way to have multiple conversations open
      - if you need to add new members to a dm you need to create a new dm
      - link previews cannot be disabled and take up too much space
      - pinned items are a piece of crap
      - threads are counter intuitive

hmm are there better alternatives out there? in the use cases you quoted above the behaviors seem to be mostly expected

for links you can remove the previews as the poster

You want to do that Everytime you post a link?
One of the better alternatives is Microsoft office communicator.
Not having multiple dms open at the same time is a major drawback. While ctrl k is fun, it quickly turns into extra work

Totally agree that their UX is a piece of crap... after pasting an image I cannot modify this message with another image. The same for the uploaded file... I cannot replace it with another file... I have to delete the current file and to upload a new one to help other teammates avoid confusion

Btw, the thread feature, multi-user conversation feature are both disasters... after adding another person into a conversation, cannot show the previous discussion history to the newly added person... @a person In a thread, it shows I successfully at this person, but this person cannot see this thread and even no notification...

Absolutely right. I don't know wtf their teams are doing really, instead of fixing these main issues

Everybody wears pagers there. Sounds like a stressful place to work.

Apparently they did a switch a few years back from having dedicated support/production teams to having every team own the production for their feature so now everybody wears pagers.

Their VP is the author from “Managing Humans”. Good book, I’d expect the team to be decent.

BTW, having to deal with outages is pretty common even if you have a dedicated ops team.
