I’m curious how Airbnb is in 2019. There’s a lot of threads here on Blind, but curious how it’s changed given the recent new exec hires. (They’ve had > 90 days so should have had a chance to settle in) New CTO: https://www.google.com/amp/s/techcrunch.com/2018/10/25/airbnb-is-bringing-on-new-cto-from-google/amp/ New CFO: https://www.google.com/amp/s/techcrunch.com/2018/11/26/amazon-exec-dave-stephenson-tapped-to-lead-airbnb-to-the-public-markets/amp/ Product/head of homes https://www.google.com/amp/s/mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUSKCN1GI2T6
Exec hires are fine. Middle management is a shit show. Lower middle should all be fired.
New CTO and CFO both seem well regarded, seem smart based on Q&As. Don't know about the homes head
Heard nothing bad about them yet from any teams so that’s a good sign . It would take time for whatever Impact they are making to be visible.
