How is Azure Global at Microsoft?
I recently got an offer from a team in Azure Global at Microsoft, anyone know something about this orgs? How is it to be a SWE in this orgs? As a person with 1 YOE, is it worth a move for this opportunity? initial offer, SDE II(Level 61): Base: 130 RSU: 70k over 4 years SignOn: 20 What I am asking is: Base: 135 RSU: 140 over 4 years Signon 40 over 2 years

Based on the Microsoft threads, this is one of the worst groups at Microsoft if not the worst. It's a cesspool and the VP that runs it is an asshole and keeps his bootlickers close and everyone goes through a meat grinder. If you are using this job to get into Microsoft and immediately jump elsewhere, I'd say it's ok. If you have any other option, just take that. The team in Redmond is 90% PMs. If you are joining as a Dev, most likely the work will be creating shit reports and internal tools for the PMs. What were you told that you'll do in the interviews ?
