How is IBM in Raleigh/Durham?
I'm considering an offer at IBM's research triangle office and am wondering what the office culture is like. When do people generally come in and leave? What do they wear to work? Is the office itself nice or outdated? Any input is appreciated! Current TC 60, potential TC 120, YOE < 1
I might get offer from IBM raleigh as well. What's the breakdown of your TC? Any sign on? I have 3 YOE and expecting base pay of 120.

Uggg....IBM....Just wait for the RA, or better yet, leave of your own volition. When I worked their 2.5 years ago, or building was almost completely empty, then I got shown the door with scores of others. We were shoved into a windowless room that was wedged between 2 server farms. It was horrid. Everyone seemed to have their lives. The good thing was, I was given 2 weeks notice of layoff, and had another job with another company before that period was over.
Not sure when people typically get there and leave but most people work remotely on Fridays. It’s a nice building and people dress on the casual side of business casual.
Can I get away with an untucked shirt with the right outfit? Offices are usually cold for me so I typically wear something like khakis with a light sweater with a t shirt underneath.
