I've seen old threads here suggesting that base is low. Has this changed after new funding and CEO change? On paper they should have a decent amount of cash. They also seem to be hiring a lot right now. Do they pay a decent base? I'm a robotics PhD with 3 yoe. Can I expect around 200 base (+bonus) for sw role? Also, how do they give equity is it options or some sort of RSU?

Yeah I didn't literally mean base. Mainly mean 200K that is cash. My friend with 4yoe and PhD was offered 250 (base+bonus) at cruise. Was he full of shit?
Wow 250k. Amazing. At 22 years old. Just be happy man
