How is the 555 Market St. Uber office in SF?
Have an pending offer from Uber for SWE, no numbers yet. Team is based in 555 office on market street. Curious what the office is like? Is it open seating/noisy? Does it also have any cafes or social lounges for employees to work in besides the desk? Is it newer than the main office in mid market? Do people usually work from home once a week (like no meeting Wednesday’s) etc? Thanks for the help! TC 235

No I did on-site at a different location, hence the question.
It is open seating. Each floor is doughnut shaped and pretty small so sound and distractions aren't really an issue. Cafeteria, social lounge, and outdoor patio area is on the 6th floor. We started occupying 555 in 2016. It's a nice building and super convenient. Next to a bunch of places and nextdoor to the Bart/Muni station. Working from home stuff is usually on a team by team basis but everyone I've worked with was chill about it.

2nd tier uber people there.
It's not too noisy. A lot quieter than 1455 mainly due to the floors not being as large and open as the floors at 1455. There are some near-soundproof individual booths scattered across the floors if you need some privacy or peace and quiet when making phone calls or just for working. In terms of location, it's better than 1455 because there are a bunch more food options in the area.
It has a strip-club just a few blocks away!
We have a strip club in the basement level too. It's only open on Fridays at 10pm though. The strippers aren't as great looking as the ones at Gold Club though.
