How is the T4 offer for Goog for Seattle ..
Got this offer recently for T4 SWE 143k base + 360k equity 4 years + 15% bonus + 50k sign on? Total years of experience 7.5 years. Currently Amazon SDE2. Is it lower end, or Median of top notch ? Do I have any more headroom for negotiation? Also what is the general(Meet expectations) year end base increase and stock refresh at Google ?
Also does Base increase during year end evaluation ? If some what is the general % ?

Was just searching blind , have not seen anyone with offered base less than 150k for same position . Generally seen peeps with 155-160k , so was concerned if this is on lower end ?
I would say median in Bay, probably higher end in Seattle
What the fuck is stocks? Do they also give you equity in another company?

It’s fair (median) for a ‘real’ T4. Base is low but rsu is much higher than average. It’s low for downleveled T4, if you could get T5-equivalent offer from elsewhere, you should ask for much more.

Policy wise it is the same but statistically Seattle median could be lower due to local market and lifestyle. People from Microsoft (like myself) would happily accept an offer that’s 10% lower than Google median but 50% higher than MS pay.
Ask for 170k base and see what they offer
No way, 160 would be the max if you have E5 offer from FB and G wants you badly.

Perhaps in Bay area? In Seattle L4 base starts at 132 and spans to 155, afaik. Stock is decent. It rarely exceeds 300k for L4 even in the Bay.
God dammit we get shit for stocks...
