Hi all, I will be starting at Facebook and am wondering how the gym facilities are? I am into weight lifting and am currently paying for a gym in the city. My gym membership is up for renewal and I need to decide whether to buy another year. If Facebook gym is adequate for barbell lifting, I will probably drop my current membership. Thoughts and experiences?
Also wondering same thing but for Seattle office. Forgot to ask recruiter to show me
So what did you find out since? Starting soon in Sea wondering same thing...
no time to use gym
yikes
Come to Google if you want to use the gym at work.
What do you mean by this? Better culture/balance?
Yes. Google arguably has the best WLB in FAANG.
Come to Mercedes-Benz, we have a gym and also cars
Dude. If you’re into gym go work for EA, their gym is the best I’ve seen so far - it’s like a free Equinox. I’ve also been to Google and Facebook gym. Eh.
How did FB look? Cardio nonsense and machines?
Just like .. an OK gym, with basic equipments
There are several gyms, they are ok to immaculate, there are barbell clubs, some get crowded during national bench hour (monday at 5).
It's crowded as fuck
MPK 19 is fine. Nothing to be excited about - better than your average $80/mos tier, not as nice as Equinox. Curious about MPK 61 / sales building...
Yes gym is good

Avoid teams with only Chinese or Indians especially with a Chinese/Indian manager
