Like the title says, apart from on call how is the work pressure for engineers and project managers?
Engineers do all the work and everyone else just checks emails and goes to meetings.
There was a huge project that we launched this Spring (TechCrunch and other tech sites mentioned it) which was among 4 different orgs and took literally 1 year with several teams working full capacity. The TPM was hired specifically to work and drive this project. The only thing she did was forwarding emails from one person to the other, and arranging different happy hours for each milestone. I don't really know why didn't they fire her. What exactly would have been missed without her work for 1 year?
Be thankful, at least she is organizing happy hours and not bitching the whole time.
Curious, what does SDE expect from TPM?
I hope that isn't because of your job
Thats what happens when you do leetcode too much, instead of thinking about b**bs, pu**y, a*s, and bjs, you can only think about logic and code.
