How late can I take an Amazon (AWS) interview?

I got contacted by a recruiter for an AWS security team which seems like a perfect fit for me. The last time I interviewed with Amazon was over a year ago and I failed, but I’d like to give it another shot. Unfortunately I haven’t been leetcoding in a while and don’t feel ready for interviews. Can I ask the recruiter if we can schedule something in a month or two due to personal reasons? The last amazon recruiter I worked with was very pushy and even scheduling a phone screen 2 weeks after the initial call was a stretch for him, so I don’t know if that’s too long for them to wait.
