I’m graduating next May and a Facebook recruiter reached out to me to schedule a phone screen for a new grad SWE position. I still need to study - how long can I delay the interviews without decreasing the chance of getting a position? (Does interviewing in August give a better chance than interviewing in, say September or October?)
Oh facebook. Sorry i’m not sure. But as a new grad (im guessing undergrad with only limited full time experience), i’d say not to push toooo much
What’s the company? sometimes companies are in a rush to fill a much needed position, and there are lots of qualified swe out there. Other times, they’re very flexible and can respect your timing needs. Google for one starts off by saying most candidates take a few weeks before scheduling an interview
