including other algorithm & data structures interview practice resources (e.g. InterviewBit, CtCI, EPI, HackerRank) and competitive programming (ICPC, Codeforces, TopCoder, SPOJ, uVA OJ) problems - please select highest bar passed
A better question is how many medium/hards have you solved on leetcode. Anyone can do 3 easys for breakfast Me: 110 medium, 35 hards
Been in competitive programming for 10+ yrs. 2k+ problems passed. Now I know how long it would take to solve a problem at the first sight.
What would your TC be, with those kind of numbers?
I work at Google with 1 year experience. TC: 200K. Actually I got larger package at Hedge Funds when I graduated, but some non-professional reasons (family/wlb/personal tech preference) made me accept their offer.
I'm a veteran of human languages but a beginner at programming languages. I solved my first one last weekend. I struggle with all the parentheses and semicolons and brackets and always get them wrong even when I know a solution conceptually right away. I really admire you SWEs who can handle the "grammar" of programming languages so easily.
Does it also consider the “weekly contest” (ex: in LC) questions inclusive too?
10,000? WTF.
Bohdan Pryshchenko has solved 8,000+. I wouldn't be surprised if Petr and tourist have a similar number or more.
I thought it could ve a reference to the 10,000 hour rule of mastery.
