Throughout the years, I've noticed that Tech jobs typically don't give a shit if you work a full 8 hours and are more concerned about what's getting done and if they're meeting deadlines efficiently. I've noticed most people work a solid 6/day, including lunch. As a super achiever, I think this is great. How many hours do you usually work? Maybe I've just been getting lucky with my jobs.
Some days 3-5 and some days 10-15. It really just depends on what's going on.
I'd say in a given week I do about 15 minutes of real actual work
At Microsoft Supply Chain, we typically start our days at 7AM and end by around 6PM.

Depending on the work load, I’m there 8-10 hours/day but that includes an hour for lunch and an hour or so of socializing/goofing around.

40 hrs a week, 0-12 hrs a day including weekends
You just keep count and adjust accordingly? And do you feel it's the same with everyone else at your job?
I adjust according to the workload which varies based on project deadlines. I don’t keep a count so 40 hrs per week is an average.
