Especially curious to see if our most senior designers can command similar TC as our non-design colleagues. 3YOE / TC ~$95k / NoVA
One of my friends is a senior designer at LinkedIn and makes over 300k.
Nice! How many years of experience do you think they have?
About 5 yrs experience w/ masters degree in HCI.
Any of the $300k+ comp leaders care to share how they got there? Do you work for a FANG, start your own company, or do something else?
around 275k annual TC (not an exact number). Sr level
Whatās breakdown ?
2.5 years at my current company (first job out of college), $195k TC ($120k base)
Nice man! I just moved; now making $130k in NoVA. Are you in Bay Area?
TC: base+rsu+bonus= $310k 6yoe
Nice! Did you negotiate? Any tips for other designers to get to your level?
Update: took an offer elsewhere. TC: $360k I did negotiate the RSU. Base was higher after additional negotiation. Tip wise, nothing unexpected; be able to deliver solid UX from end to end, be a team player and have solid reference. Being able to do both UX and UI as well. Having manager experience helps.
im a junior graphic designer in kosovo for 3 years in company and i earn 500ā¬ a month . :s
More than $500k? Jony Ive, is that you?
