I’m currently getting recruiters reaching out to me offering higher titles and a higher TC(about $20-30k more). I currently have a manager who I get along with well, a great team and a great reputation at my company. I’m not really looking to leave, but sometimes I do wish I had a higher TC. Curious how much it would take to have you consider moving to a new company.
It’s not just money. It’s WLB too and enjoyment of each job.

Yeah but if you could maintain wlb and job enjoyment, how much would it take? I wouldn’t switch jobs for a 5% raise. Too much overhead for that. But a 30-40% raise? Yeah

Does not make sense. Go for double. I repeat, set your target to double your TC. If you come short of your goal, it might end up 80% increase. Prepare like your life depends on it and go for the best paying companies. Don't be driven by random stranges.

Right now there isn't a number.. but if things changed I'd want +50%
As much as I can get!!
I get a measly $90k a year in Toronto, Canada. Slowly LCing and preparing to hopefully jump ship to Seattle (my ideal weather - seriously) for $150k TC some day. Been very fortunate that I typically have gotten along with my coworkers and boss, and that is probably worth 1/4 of my TC to me.
If I'm happy at my current job at least 25%, if I hate it maybe 5-10%.

28 terrorist worshipping idiots just got themselves fired and I've never been prouder to work at Google.
Manager I get along well with is worth 35% of my TC. A great team and reputation make up another 35%, so it would need to be at least 70% extra to get me to leave.
This is ridiculous... 70%? If your tc is 300k (which it’s probably more), you wouldn’t leave unless you got a 510k offer?
