Could you share the following?
- sqft?

Farmers Insurance. $616.86/year for 1800 sqft single family house which I spent $1.2M.

No earthquake coverage because it is too expensive and deductible is too high.

Then just get out of the thread. I just wanted a general idea of what insurance costs, which I feel like I got. I understand that it goes case by case, but there seems to be a baseline.
Seems like you ainโ€™t have much going on this weekend huh?

For sfh I'm currently paying 50$/month after shopping around.

Doesn't cover earthquake or flooding. However not on a flood plain. It also covers full replacement costs.

About 2k/sqft costs me about $1,200/yr.

Earthquake insurance is about the same but the deductible is really, really high. Like you're going to have to hit your 401k kind of high.

Also remember the costs to rebuild != the market price. So a (really) high deductible may not really be helping you much.

Earthquake insurance is a separate policy than homeowners insurance in California.
