I've seen countless videos on YouTube for probably the past 9 months now and I'm just wondering if anybody here has had any success having a blog or form of a podcasts of form of a revenue stream.

It’s entirely depending on your content and it’s appeal. Most people make nothing. Some make over ten million a year, really. So, you have to ask how much people would be interested and how much time you want to put into it. Note that it can have other benefits - like invitations to speaking gigs, job offers, etc.

It's like the lottery. Most people get nothing. A few break even. A smaller amount does better. An even smaller amount does well. And one or two hit the jackpot. Most of those that hit the jackpot are pop culture types (especially gaming). People seem to be more interested in paying for entertainment than education. For tech, consistency is key which means it's pretty much a full time job. Ideally, you're already getting paid for what you're publishing. Great way to build a reputation and get speaking / teaching / consulting gigs. But it's a tough business.
Also too late to get in on the tech teaching stuff unless you have a rare and phenomenal angle. Most lecture type angles have been covered
