How much money is enough for a 26 yo to FIRE in India?
why don't people earn by 30 and fire in India? by retiring early i mean stop working for money only work if you like.

2 bed 2 bath in pune is costing me $150k. Education cost ( primary school) is more than $1-1.5k / year. If you have a house/ apartment and ready to educate your child(ren) in not so great school you can survive with half a million i guess
Or buy three of those rent out 2 of them and keep living off of it.

95% of IT population in India earns very less. They keep paying for home loan till 45. For others, it's an option to retire early but most of the people don't have any passion or it gets killed by that time
None. You can potentially work your way through life easily in India with savings worth 500k-1mill. But human tendency is to want more, and to keep the growth graph pointing up. Which means youll keep hustling till you can, for you, for growth, for your future kids / family. Good luck :)
+1 Dreaming of early retirement is a symptom of being unhappy with your current state. If you quit your job, it's unlikely to change that. Sure, you'll be happy for a couple of weeks. But not indefinitely. Find out what you don't like about your current job that makes you want to not be there, and find ways to fix it.
