Net pay - housing, food, car, all sorts of costs, bs
Percentage doesn’t matter. You can’t pay bills with percentages
Can we start from you sharing that info?
Me about 3K each month
Should’ve added surplus in cash ie. also excluding 401K or any savings
~4k each month
3k
6-8k
More or less same Just over 10k/m post tax in high col+tax area
But I own a house
This makes 0 sense. Better question would be what % of income is surplus
Why not? Income should be proportional to ur living costs
I think either way makes sense. However for me it varies month to month because RSU vest every 3rd month, bonus is every 12 month. Property tax is 2x/year.... etc
