I got an offer from a startup in the bay area in early September. They have a third party attorney working on H1 transfers. Collected and sent the documents by Sept 25th. They said they'd need my Oct 15th paystub too, I sent it on October 15th. It's been more than 2 weeks and they still haven't filed and hardly reply to my messages. Does it take this long? Anything alarming?
They need to wait for LCA approval before filing for a transfer. LCA takes about 10-14 days. Google what’s LCA
Yeahh I guess it does. But, all I was asking them was for an estimate, to make sure I can plan my move from east to west coast. They ghosted since, which is unusual
Gotta be patient not all immigration lawyer companies are great at it but a general estimate with premium processing is about 4-6 weeks to get approval

Tipping culture is really getting out of control! Waiter gave me ‘a look’ because I tipped her 10% for ‘BAD service!’
Shouldn't take this long. But also no need to be alarmed. Once they have all papers, I'd give them another week to send out the application.
It's been more than 2 weeks since I sent all the documents.
Give it another week. When was last email you sent?
