I just got the latest iphone XR after five years of using Iphone 6 that i got in December 2014. How often do you guys change or upgrade your phones. I feel like phones pretty much do same stuff and the companies are just pushing the tech way too much but not much difference.
I change mine every 2 years - contract is usually up, and it keeps my device current. But I agree, I notice the change in processors and cameras, but that’s it. Bigger screen is also a plus, getting work done is easier on the go.
5-6 years.
3 years due to battery life.
Depends. If I'm paying then I wait for my current model to die. If work is paying then as often as they will upgrade it.
This is my 4th phone in 6 years...
This is my third phone THIS year. Okay, I admit. They are all work phones and they all have different hardware. And I need them to do my job.
Once I break it or the battery life gets frustrating, whichever happens first. Usually 2 years.
When I break it...
Every year as long as Samsung pays me to do it. Doubt I would spend 1100 on a phone unless it had some convincing feature.
I never change my phone. I still have the 4
I agree with you on the last part. It's really dumb to switch a phone every year. I usually switch only if I drop and break my phone beyond the point that it can be repaired. Coincidentally it happens every 3 years
