My iPhone 7 plus is 2 years old and still running as good as the day I bought it. Battery health is at 90% which means I’ll be replacing it by the end of the year for $29. I plan on squeezing another year or two out of this phone.
iPhone 7 Plus upgraded to iOS12. 85% battery. Performance got noticeable boost. I think it really could be that Apple was throttling the performance of older devices until someone figured it out.
I have a grandfathered TMobile plan that offers 2 free upgrades a year at zero cost to me. Turn in my old phone and get a new one no money down and payments stay the same. Why not?
Usually till it lasts or till I run out of memory. Currently I’m on iPhone 8+ and will hold on to it for as long as I can. I kinda hate the new notch phones.
