How to beat dev plan
So it is start of new year and many people got put onto a dev plan, including me. I was just told informally a few days ago. What should i be expecting now? Any tips from people who successfully beated it?

Just start looking for opportunities outside. Not worth staying back for a manager/team that does not believe in you.

Whats a dev plan? Is that like a PIP? If you are talking about PIP then you are being managed out. Time to start looking.
Its one step before pip.
If a manager even casually mentioned the possibility of a dev plan I would be negotiating other opportunities the next day.
