I love travelling the world, and would love to have the chance to live in a few countries outside America while still working. Any advice from those who have done this? What things should I consider/research? Countries I would be most interested in would be any of the western European countries, and places in Asia such as Thailand, Singapore, etc...

What languages do you speak?
Portuguese and Spanish besides English of course
Well, you can try and get a job in Lisbon, they have a very diverse startup scene, but they pay a fraction of US salaries. Outsystems for once is not a bad company. Also, Google hires in Belo Horizonte in Brazil. Spain has very high unemployment rate, it hard to find a job there unless you were transferred. UK is always an easy option. I think they will have even more jobs with Brexit, because itās not that expensive anymore and itās still the friendliest labor legislation in Europe. Singapore is still hiring, not that intensively, but you can try. Also, look in Dubai, they love to hire Americans and they pay well, though the cost of living is expensive.
What I did was work really hard for the first 3 months. Then I told them that I'm thinking about working remotely. Then, slowly transition out by working a couple weeks from different cities to test out. If there's no strong objections just buy a ticket and tell them you're leaving. Most companies will never say yes until they have to.

Join amazon, work couple years here, transfer to Europe, get pay cut, but keep RSUs
Most of the time you can only get this from being the first or second engineer, so aim for startups or negotiate that in even before you can offer
Depends on your skill set. Web guys this is easier for. Make a Fiverr.
