Currently working in operations and looking to make a career switch. 2 years out of college. What degree or skills do I need to become a project manager. The role is something that always interest me and love creating impact. Salary bump from ops to project management will be nice too. Considering getting a certificate or 2nd degree in CS or CIS.
Current TC in my ops role
Amazon TC = 90k
Lyft TC = 77k
*Put in 2 weeks notice at Amazon to take a new role at Lyft. Will be a pay cut but hope Lyft can get to IPO by 2019.

People don't go and become Project Managers, they sorta become Project Managers if they don't do anything.
Can’t say now that you’re going to Lyft but I would say, study up on PM blogs and then just apply to something later. Say you did PMing in your previous roles.
