I have come up with a list of 4 questions that would allow me to quickly and easily validate whether my startup idea is sound, if I can get 1000 unique responses to a survey containing them How do I most cheaply and reliably get valid responses to this survey, targeted at 2 or 3 cities? I was thinking of offering a $10 Amazon gift card to each email and IP-validated unique response to a survey ad, but I'm not sure if that's secure and $10,000+ is costlier than I'd like
Google also has a survey tool. To validate the idea you can also do an adwords campaign and look at ctr.
Use Amazon's MTurk! I got about 400 survey results for 5 cents a survey. Of course some will answer that aren't in the target demo, but it's so cheap you can get more responses. Feel free to PM for advice

Research paid survey sites. E.g Swagbucks. Should fit nicely within your budget and reach the audiences you want.
Thanks for the tip. Will check it out
How do I create a survey on Swagbucks or MyPoints? Googling doesn't yield anything and I can't find it in the cluttered UI
