I am moving from Seattle to San Jose next week. My new company gives me a lump sum relocation money and I have to find a mover myself. I seek out several companies. Have very different quotes from everyone. One quote me 6k for moving a 2 badroom + one study size house. One quote me 2.8k but they looks a lot like a broker. Now, this company: Midwestern Vanlines quote me 3.8k flat rate (so they said) while they have very nice BBB reviews and mover.com reviews. They have terrible Yelp review... I don't know if I should trust BBB or Yelp. Up to this point I'm all stressed out. I start to consider using upack or UHaul ubox, the cost the about the same though...
