It's been 3weeks since I joined as inter and feel like I will complete my project on time. Wonder what it takes to get full time offer? Any suggestions or your experience you would like to share? Thanks.
Do your work well. You are assessed on what you did, and the LPs you demonstrated.
Make sure you demonstrate leadership principles. Besides technical competency, LPs play a big part in any evaluation at Amazon.
As long as you show Ownership, Bias for Action and Deliver Results- you should get the offer. Ask your mentor for any potential roadblocks which might risk delivery of your project and be prepared to handle them. Apart from that, try to improve from feedback- be it in code reviews or in person. Get better at anything pointed out as your areas of improvement, especially during your midpoint review. All the best!
I wouldn’t get too complacent and think you got it in the bag already. Most intern projects if not all have an extension project that you can work on if you finish early, so at this point try to see if you can finish early. Make sure you learn from your feedback. No one expects you to be perfect but if they feel like you don’t learn from your feedbacks... it definitely won’t be in your favour. Remember, you are an intern... so as long as you show you can learn fast, take ownership and deliver results, you will be fine.
Try to go above and beyond. There will be a lot of competition for any full time roles, assuming Albertsons is as great as people on Blind say it is

Let your manager know that would like to have a full-time offer. I did that while interning at Amazon.
