Recently moved to seattle and seems like everyone works at Amazon or other tech companies.. i dont want to date another Amazonian cause it will feel like an extension of work as we will always talk about Amazon or tech. Is it even possible to date someone who doesn’t work in tech in seattle? If so, whats the best way to meet diverse ppl?
No
Get out of your (ama) zon. Jobs shouldn't define people unless you're surrounded by workoholics. I found it as annoying as you do.
Go to downtown and there are tons of homeless guys lying on the street. Do them a favor and take one home!
If you live downtown, no. As you go a little further out, the neighborhoods become more diverse.
Which neighborhoods?
Neighborhoods you will only meet tech ppl: SLU, Downtown, Psquare, Belltown. Close to downtown where you might meet non-tech ppl (still hard): SODO, cap hill, udistrict, Chinatown. Far from downtown but easily meet non tech ppl: Ballard, West Seattle, shoreline, ect..
Date guys who aren’t Seattle based but travel to Seattle
Good question, wrong forum. You’ll only find tech guys here, most of whom will be happy to tell you why you should reconsider your approach to the local dating pool. TC?
Try your luck on tinder
TC or GTFO
Move back to where ever you come from?
Yes.
