I have a friend/extended relative who doesn't speak much English. Mid 30s. Has worked in Venezuela and Ecuador as a SWE, mostly in C#/Angular. He's got a decent 50k job in Miami, but has no growth potential since he mainly speaks Spanish. He's being peer pressured to go back to truck driving as his friends supposedly make 3k/week (I'm assuming pre-tax). Any tips as to which company/location within the US would offer him a better TC, while he learns English? A low Hispanic community around the area would help as he'd have no other choice but learn the language.
idk what to say... dreams never die I guess.
Refer him to Google
Would be better for him to temporarily switch to a job that has a lot of interaction in English.
Same here . Can I apply for and work for FANG? Iam international engineer.
