Netflix, uber, lyft, twitter, snap, opendoor. I applied using linkedin but no response. Anything specific one must do to get interview? yoe 15+ unrelated chip-design sw work

The “unrelated” part is going to be a problem at Netflix for sure. Also, I wouldn’t recommend applying through LinkedIn.

Yes I got interview invites from the following by contacting recruiters on Linkedin: Apple - 3 first round interview invites from 3 different teams 1 interview invite from below: Netflix Twitter Uber Facebook Airbnb VMWare Amazon, Microsoft and Google recruiters are anyways often emailing for interviews.
Referrals
