I’m sick of sabotaging myself all the time. Had an intern project presentation dry-run with my team last week and it was just absolutely the worst I’ve ever done. Was still editting the powerpoint till the last minute, completely didn’t prepare a script, I could hear myself saying all the “umm”s in every other sentence. I’ve been trying to lose weight for a long time, but I find myself munching a big bag of chips almost every other week. Deep down I think I have a low self worth/esteem problem, and I really hope to change that. I’m also very bad at pushing myself to do what’s important in time (aka not procrastinating). Any cheap recommendations(aka not therapy)? Maybe self-help books? Ironically making this post was to avoid preparing for my actual demo tomorrow 🤷🏻♀️
Jack off and relax a little
I like optimize.me it has lots of different techniques for building better habits and making yourself a little better each day. It’s a long journey, but you’ll get there.
Lol optimize.me? Do you have some full disclosure along with it?
You are just like all of us

OP, that post is an information overload! 1) Binge eating - place baby carrots at your desk. Every time you feel like eating chips, grab carrots instead. 2) Exercise - even if it’s just 7 mins a day. Download the free app. 3) Self esteem - do steps 1 & 2.
I hike here and there. But winter is coming so yeah you’re right I’ll throw in some HIIT sessions as well

And MDMA as well? Focused at work and happy after?
You said not therapy, but the answer is therapy. You’re self sabotaging by avoiding therapy.
I’m going back to school starting September. The reason that I won’t be in therapy is simply because I can’t afford it😞 I’ll be a TA but I’m already thinking about getting another serving job to cover the high rent
your school might have free counseling services or the medical clinic might have psychologists on staff
Replace chips with high proteins and low carb food. Instead of chips fry some chicken in butter. It will fill you for longer periods of time. Basically if you don't have problems like I have I will recommend you ketogenic diet. But you will have to take the first step and that is drag yo ass to Walmart and buy stuff with fats but no sugar. Try the recipes online for ketogenic diet and stay on intermittent fasting. A little research would tell what to eat and what not to in Keto. You are going to love it. First few weeks eat as much as you want. Then slowly reduce the amount. You'll lose weight quickly. You'll look smart and you'll have some self esteem. Thank me later. Side affects can be high cholesterol if you don't work out a little or constipation if you don't keep yourself hydrated all the time (water only). When you find yourself stuck at a weight which you may find yourself stuck in this situation, try cheating for a day or two and then get back to keto. You will lose tons of weight pretty fast.
