How to interview with companies in Bangalore while living in Bay area
Living in Bay area since 2015. Working at a non FAANG now with TC 200K. YoE 6 (2 before masters and 4 afterwards). My profile is not awesome but I think is decent. Have worked in a startup for 2 years which did not do very well and was laid off due to $$ and had to find a job in 60 days of H1B grace period so I accepted my current job, which I think bought down my TC. I've been grinding away LC everyday and have solved close to 500 LC now (mostly mediums). Unfortunately my current company does not have an office in Bangalore so internal transfer is not an option. I would like to test out the waters in Bangalore regarding how much $$ my profile will get me and then decide to move or not. Any suggestions on how to go about this ?
Stay in the bay area. Bangalore is overflowing, no space, no water, only traffic.
Bangalore is the spot! Bay Area is old news. India will lead tech. This is coming from a non Indian
I think Br7i899 is on a campaign to get Indians out of bay area. Even if India comes close to leading tech, we will all be dead by then.(due to lack of resources (mainly water scarcity, TRAFFIC and noise pollution to which Uber contributes to - a lot in India.). Move to another country, but don't come here. Don't bite the India is the next big thing bullet - not happening anytime soon.
