I feel completely unprepared and unqualified for the position. What should I know/be able to do beforehand? Is it normal to feel like you're interviewing for a job you have no business doing?
Iโve hired data scientists, and I always like when they ask me questions about current problems we are trying to solve, the start walking me through the solution by asking the right questions. Shows that they donโt just have the right tech skills, but also understand how to think through business solutions. Best of luck. Have fun and be safe.
Depends on your skillset. Do you have the proper skills AND passion for the role. There are a lot of bad data scientists, so make sure this is something you actually want. You should really have a good understanding of data analysis, data engineering, and stats. Talk about your projects and what excites you about data science. Talk about how you are going to bring value to the company.
