My manager might get me #fired for performance issues in #BlackRock NY technology group. They keep changing my projects every 6 months to totally new technologies that I’ve never worked on and expect me to deliver like a pro in the technology I have work experience in. What do I do to save my job and change projects internally even if my manager might give bad reviews about me to the other managers ?
Just collect the severance package.
How can I be sure they will give me a severance if my manager posses me as a non performer ?
On paper you're never really "fired". More so "let go". It's standard practice to provide someone with a severance package to ensure that nothing bad will come of it. While it's true that they're not required to, it'd be fucked up if they didnt.
Why do you want to stay there?
Stay till I find something else.... hopefully better so will take time
Tough situation, sucks that you’re going through that. Will your company put you on a PIP before firing you?
Sounds like your best bet is to do the minimum to buy get immediately fired, but do prep on your spare time and find something better
You gotta service your manager. Put in the hard yards and take it for ... job security. It’ll be hard to swallow but think of the benefits.
Dirty bird.
You need to perform better and stop blaming your boss. Six months is a long time dude.
If you’re a guy show up at work in high heels and makeup smeared all over your face and insist everyone call you lashawnda. You’ll surely be placed in a protected class.
Not fair to say that.... minorities get fired/laid off too .... btw I think you meant if you’re “a white guy”... cause racism is protected class too
You work for a racist company. How dare you.
