How do you deal with frustration when being rejected or the person you liked gets with someone else? I used to get angry or depressed, want to act out, but I realized that it doesn’t get me anywhere. But it’s very hard to do things that are constructive. It’s much easier to listen to depressing emo music and say screw it, but I would like to use this experience to grow. I am an Asian male in South Bay Area.
Try boxing, it helps to channel negative energy, and as a bonus you get fit
Hit the gym, cut calories and carbs, up the protein. Gains don’t come easy, but when they do come, they pay dividends.
What's your alternative than to move on? One piece of advice - Don't stay at home by yourself! Even if you want to listening to depressing music, don't do it at home. Go to Starbucks, listen to the same music with some people around you. Trust me, it won't be that depressing.
Feeling miserable for another 20 years and enjoy self-pity? Self-pity is a pretty powerful and addictive thing actually, it can help you to find an excuse for anything.

Gym. It'll help to release endorphins and elevate your mood, also will help to reduce stress and adrenaline levels. It works like a magic pill, the only drawback for me is that I still know I'm "cheating" by hacking through biology principles.

Cry and feel bad until you exhaust yourself. Then you'll move on. For me, I've found, that there's no short cut to grief besides going through it.
