Ours is so veiled that TL’s and managers are not supposed to mention the word “ranking” while what’s happening behind the scenes is a total stack ranking popularity contest type of thing.
🙄 It’s all relative. Depends on it if was a bad or good review.
Good or bad review is fine. But, how fair is it? Do you work with your manager on promotion timelines? How much visibility do you have in your ratings?
How do you define fair? Are you just referring to transparency?
