  • Netflix has been in tougher situations in the past. I’m sure they’ll find a way to stay competitive and out-innovate their competition.

    Bullish on Netflix.

What does amazon do to any thriving business or oss project on their platform ? Build a clone and undercut the market leader. There's prime video btw..

that’s non-sense. It doesn’t matter if it is on their platform or not. They get into profitable markets because they want to make money.

Amazon? And here I thought they were trying out things because they are bored. My point was that they will happily stab a knife at your business when contracts are up for renewal, like you guys did when you pulled out your content, and these guys are soo in bed with amazon that it will be an interesting challenge to move out of.

Historically, AWS gets cheaper every year and you get a lot of benefits by sticking to a single cloud provider. The alternative of building your own data center or going with a cloud provider that isn’t the market leader seem like worse decisions in my opinion.

Because back stabbing one of the biggest contributors to aws adoption and open source tooling is a great business move for a platform

What about it? Mainframe as a service? And that has to do with your ability to make money and pay them amazon bills ? How's your stock doing lately? And it's not even recession yet.. ^.^
No mater how much you shrink you will always pay an arm and a leg for storage and licenses because video content is your lifeline and you lease both. What else do you offer to make my $$$ worth in a downturn? Groceries, 🤴 cruises, cellphones? Content? But you need $$ to make content. Best case would be if you got bought up by Verizon or some other cord provider that needs a known streaming platform.

NfFLX should buy twitter and get exclusive rights for NFLs and other important events. That could set them apart
