How's the brand of the Cambridge MBA in silicon valley?

Is it perceived as well as top US schools?

Lol CMU MBA is third tier. Amazon bro is gaslighting.

There is no brand of MBAs in Silicon Valley in general.

Yelp SQN Jun 27, 2019

Not true.

There is no distinction between a top MBA for tech versus top MBA overall, it's all about brand GSB and HBS first Wharton second, Sloan/Yale/Columbia close third, Booth fourth, then the Kellogg and Ross and maybe Haas etc.

Reddit y34bas Jun 27, 2019

Yale close third, what are you smoking?

But to the question ^ what about Cambridge?

Facebook public2 Jun 27, 2019

MBA? What is this 1996?

Reddit y34bas Jun 27, 2019

Most PMs at FB have MBAs so no it’s 2019

What cambridge, what MBA? Pass the interview first

I wish this made sense

No, it's not. In general British MBA programs are seen as poorer cousins to the American ones. Also, 1 year program versus 2: you won't be able to squeeze in as many gratuitous "leadership trips".

Yelp SQN Jun 27, 2019

Also MBAs are all about building your network. The American programs eclipse the British ones by 2x when it comes to the size of the class and just because of geography, more of their graduates end up in the Bay Area.

Gosh. It took me a minute to realize that you're not talking about Sloan. You can consider INSEAD or HEC apart the M7. I would prefer US MBA as it's more capitalistic in many ways.
