Huge beat and up 6% or more after bell. Seems like bad wlb at Amazon or Netflix really helps company revenue even engineers keep complaining.
What do you mean bad wlb?
It's very paradoxical. Amazon egnineers complain and crib so much on blind. But the company keeps churning money, quarter after quarter.
I think you can either have hyper growth or good WLB, not both.
People are free to leave if they want to, but rising stock prices keep them here. And if they leave, there are 1000s of minions to replace them.

The way I see it is work at rest vest company, and use saving to buy amazon Netflix stocks, I enjoy my life, and guys from amazon and Netflix will work hard to keep their stocks up and make me rich.
Lol so glad I'll be joining an amazon subsidiary soon. Reap all the benefits of the stock while people at amazon slave away.

As long as Shareholders needs are met, stock price will go up at least in the short term. Wlb will come back to haunt them in the long run.
They never have and never will care about WLB. It’s not in their DNA
I don't care much about wlb if I'm paid really well.
