Does Hulu pay well or is it under the market because now they're "hot shots" since Disney bought them?
Nothing has happened yet...too soon to tell. I'm contemplating whether or not to accept an offer at Hulu. Feel other companies pay better
What’s your TC and level? Hard to tell if you are underpaid without numbers. What’s the offer?
TC ~$125k. Brought in as a consultant but TPM is a total moron and isn't a tech or system savy which he is supposed to be. He's just a glorified admin assistant and that's the only reason he's on any project because no one wants to do the admin work like setup meetings and take notes & his base salary is $185k + $10-20k bonus (not sure how the bonus structure works) but I'm doing all of the TPM work and the admin work and I'm very tech savy but my background is not tech. Hence they don't want to pay me as a TPM
They pay lower then top companies (FNG), but better than alot based on offer I had from them.
Under market, but more than that — they act noticeably cheap.
Ugh that's even worse
The guy that stocks our office snacks says he also stock for Hulu but the employees have to pay for them. 🤷♀️
Not true. Hulu has free snacks but no free breakfasts or lunches but you can make lunch with the stocked fridges
They do pay lot better than companies in LA or Santa Monica
+1 on lower than top companies but better pay than majority of companies in LA.
Being part of Disney is not going to help increase or improve hulu pay structure
Base and bonus in tech is higher than even some FAANG (depends on company, level, and position), but LTIP not as high as stock grants. LTIP is decent, though, and is actual cash. Anyone saying below market is probably not in tech. Disney so far has no impact on compensation, again at least not in tech.
This ^^^ If u are in tech n l4 and above you can potentially get paid more than FAANG with the fixed bonus and ltip bonus after three years
Is L4 equivalent to Senior title roles? Any idea what a rough TC would be in tech for L4? Like $150 or like $300?
