What does everyone think about standups? How often is TOO often, and what sort of work practices could you implement to avoid unnecessary standups? i.e. smaller sectors of the company meet up to discuss topics instead of everyone all together OR employees should message one another directly with relevant information, and yada yada.
It's like 5 or 10 mins. People need to stop being so whiny
Ours take every bit of 1/2 hour and it’s the fucking worst
Then its not a standup or whoever is running it is terrible. Bring it up in the retro spective.thats 2 hours a week of stolen productivity
TC?
We have half an hour daily standups which usually goes over...so don't complain about your once a week standups 😂
Some people talk too much. Give them a timer, 1m30s max per person. Anything else should be taken offline.
vStandups FTW.. we use Geekbot integration in team slack channel for daily virtual stand ups
I loved Joker’s standup
Standup exposes people that don’t make any progress.
Only standup worthwhile is Chappelle
If it lasts longer than 10 mins. GTFO Also TC or GTFO. Edit: I realize both of them could end with "that's what she said" 😂 Edit edit: now I am trolling myself. What have I become. 😰
😂
