You’re in good company with 90%+ of the rest of the world

Why don’t you move to Eastern world of maybe Africa? It’s very easy to move and settle there. You’ll free up some space for those who want to come here and suffer

Not possible. GF and family lives here. She can't move du to her profession (she's dentist. But no, in Europe dentists aren't rich. In fact they are the poorest among all physicians.)

Girlfriend - not wife and kids, you’re free to move

Yeah, I know.

If you don’t have an inheritance Western Europe’s has very low prospects for young people. I see that trend getting worse not better throughout the rest of the century

Europe sucks in comparison to the USA when it comes to money

They aren't for sale

You can live just fine in major cities with 60k€, you’re being a cry baby I’m afraid.

Facebook bustycoder Jun 25, 2019

I've seen people survive on less than $2 a day.

I thought you guys have huge pensions no, so less financial stress in a certain sense, or no?

Taylor Farms pipp Jun 25, 2019

It’s true. People in europe who rant about their salaries forget that every time they visit the doctor it costs next to nothing. And also when they turn 65 government pays OK. No need for 401k

Define financially free. What are your expectations. I’m earning good income and don’t think I’ll truly be financially free until early 60s. My definition is probably different than yours. I’m calculating the risk of being financially fleeced by healthcare later in life and paying for my kids education. Problems which are not really problems across most of Europe.
