I like the idea of the app and feel meaningful selling things not in use to someone really needs it. However my recent experience has been frustrating because buyers just ghosted or never showed up for an agreed schedule. All I can do is to report and block them. But the company seems to do nothing about it and it actually doesn’t require anything to sign up for a new account. I think the company already has enough active users and the next step needs to be improving the quality of users. Any pro tips for using OfferUp?
Offerup is Chinese China App company who got funded by China Communist Party Initiative to penetrate the US Market... so when you buy on OfferUp, you are helping China. Also the ceo of offerup has a huge warehouse where he buy and resell stuff to keep the App alive... its a fraud
This doesn’t read Chinese https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/OfferUp

I just assume there will be a 50% no show. That’s why I only meet at my house so I don’t waste time waiting outside. I also give my neighbors’ address whenever anyone ask for my address. I never report anyone as I understand why some people change minds but too shy to message any more. I sold my used car and other stuff. Great app.
I always do it like fcfs. No waiting. It always works. Or they can transfer money and hold it.
Good one. I was trying to be nice but ppl didn’t do the same to me.
As a seller people ghost. As a buyer people post fakes. Both sides got their problems
