I made horchata.

Dec 18, 2018

It’s steeping. I’m pretty excited. I’ve never made horchata before now. I also can’t sleep and have a recruiter call in 7 hours.

Good job. Now go to bed and take deep long breaths while counting down from 100. Ace that screening call.

I’ve tried it several times in different places but it’s one of those things I won’t buy on my own.

Add cold water or milk with about 1 cup of white sugar (based on how sweet you want it) you can swap evaporated milk for sweetness.

I would dilute this more. It’s very potent.

Nothing in that recipe looks like horchata.

Real horchata is made out of tigernut.
