I am impressed, it took them millions of dollars and thousands of man hours to come to this conclusion...

I'm giving notice on Friday but my manager has no freaking clue. Im giving a dinner party to everyone in my team as I got promoted 2 days ago (which I should have gotten years ago).

I'm waiting to see the look on his stupid ass face when I give him the good news. I've been waiting for this for the last 5 years.

They'll hide behind the 5% error rate. This is funny.

I'm Not a dick but that asshole got promoted three times in the last 3 years and has given a total of 2 promotions in a team of 8 people.

LOL, at IBM you can throw a rock and it'll hit someone looking to quit. So wouldn't say it's their AI that's accurate, but more so people there are just looking to leave

95% is not high. They could completely miss attrition in good teams or get false positives. They cut 30% HR and the remaining 70% are getting higher pay and are higher quality. AI could just be a red herring here. There's no way any AI could guess my skills based on the assignments and communication that I'm engaged in.

So I assume the secret is they monitor IM and phone. They also look for suspicious random 1-2 days off with little notice...

Although shit if IMing that I am interviewing leads to retention bonuses...

Not that impressive if theyโ€™re monitoring company IMs for keywords. Interested to see how this can translate into other businesses.

I was going to accept there offer before Wayfair, missed it by a day, and it was gone. Donโ€™t plan on applying again. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

IBM's Rometty is trying to promote it's crap product similar to Oracle's Ellison.
