ICO participation for H1B holders

As most of the good ICOs don’t allow US residents/citizens to participate. Does anyone know if H1B visa holders living in USA (who are not US citizen and sometimes considered as US resident for Tax purposes) can participate in ICOs?

Are there "good" ICOs?

They are all scam anyway. If a legitimate company wanted to raise money, they wouldn't tie their future to the crypto bubble

I think it’s green card and up. Google the laws on accredited investors and pre ipo investment laws. This should answer your question. And, some blockchain companies are utility tokens and okay either way. And they aren’t all scams. Uber is a scam. Blockchain will make it possible to not need a billion dollar app to make 10 bucks an hour. I know bc fees are still too high, but the day is coming when they won’t be. Scams don’t build huge node networks for a few million (maybe) in profit. They do it for billions. Beating the competition is easily worth billions. Be afraid dinosaurs, me included.

Disagree - a lot of the investment into development at Uber is for the user experience of the drivers and riders. Decentralization does not make those requirements disappear.

Not all of them are scam. You need to do a lot of research to find good ones. A lot of good ones have contributed in building better block chain architecture or to make transactions faster. ETH and NEO only have got like 3000x again since they went ICO three year back. Example ETH ICO price was $0.31 in 2014. Most recent ones could be Lisk, Qtum, Ethos who went ICO last year have got more than 50x gains.
