Considering taking on a FT ISR role in a growing part of the HPE. What should I expect for salaries? I am ideally looking for 50k+ base with commission on top of that. I'd like to not go back the SDR/BDR work, and have experience already. I am graduating this December with Bachelor's and already have 3 years in tech sales/marketing. I live in the greater Boston area.
Too many acronyms for anyone to know what you're talking about
I read this as IRS salaries. I was also very curious what the IRS pays, given how badly they need tech help.
I bet that job would be taxing
What region?
HPE ISRs typically are on a 60/40 split with a OTE ranging from 60k to 85k depending on the region. For Boston I would lean towards the higher end.
Good to know. Thanks!
I agree - 60/40 split but could also be 80/20 - OTE will probably be 60k to 70k (I think 85k is too high for an undergrad)
ISR's at HPE are compensated on a level system 1-5. Level 1 in entry. I believe OTE is around $50k, it's in Plano so that's an OK lifestyle if you're single. I hear the ISR team be getting more responsibility next year so that could bring higher pay too. I've never heard of an new hire ISR getting 85K.... Never.
85k is outside of HPE with a bit more than entry level responsibility.
If something I mentioned seems unreasonable feel free to be critical of it or ask questions.
