I interviewed for iCloud team in Cupertino and received positive feedback after 3 days from recruiter. He told me just now that this team also has openings in Seattle in case am interested. I have no problems with Seattle weather. I want to know if it's a remote office and have low priority projects coming from Cupertino office or not? Any information on WLB? Based on location, Apple offer will vary (I think only base component will change). So, I need to tell the recruiter location in 2-3 days. Any help is much appreciated as I don't have friends in Apple Seattle office. Current TC: 248 YOE: 6.5
Do you know if it’s the office that’s almost done in South Lake Union area? If so, that would be a super legit spot if you’re up to living in Seattle. FBs new buildings are right across the street

Yes, that’s it!
Seattle iCloud team does not work on low priority projects, they are basically the same projects as in Cupertino. The team still works pretty closely even though they are in separate locations. My experience is that WLB is great in Seattle. Everyone in the office is gone by 6 at the latest. It seems to be better in Seattle for WLB than in Cupertino. There are of course perks that we don’t have currently that you would get in Cupertino like shuttles and cafe Mac. The current office is amazing though. Not many people are looking forward to the new building even though we’ll be getting more perks. It’s just tough to beat the current office. As to whether to pick Seattle or Cupertino? Really depends on what you’re looking for. Seattle feels like a remote office for now so you might not readily find a lot of opportunity since you’ll have a more narrow network of people you interact with. If you’re a good engineer that can make your own opportunity, then Seattle is great. That of course will change over time as the new building comes online and more people are hired here.
What’s the ICT4 average package in Seattle? Found some results for Cupertino but none for Seattle.
Howz the work at iCloud?
interview experience and questions?
Interview experience: I had great experience with Apple as compared to Lyft & Snap I interviewed later last week. Result pending from both. I liked Apple interview process because they asked problems related to team domain instead of some textbook questions. Even the coding questions were designed by describing a problem in similar domain instead of taking it directly from leetcode as they were in Lyft & snap.
