Let’s say chocolate or cookies for example. I mostly think it’s not allowed if you are headed to any place where weed is not legal. I understand that and won’t carry it along.
But again.. My childhood was pretty interesting. I grew up watching Jai Shankar’s movies of 70s/80s made in South India in which he smuggled diamonds in the spectacle frames from India to Singapore. Truely inspiring and competition to today’s 007s of Hollywood.

You are not allowed to bring food/fruits into most countries without declaring. It can ruin the ecosystem. Edible material show up on their x-ray very clearly too.
If you make an obvious effort to hide it, the sentence is higher (like mixing it with regular candy or wrapping it in something to hide it).
I would probably bring pure oils or something in their natural container and put in next to my perfumes. That way it won’t look suspicious on a scan. But if they decide to check, I can act stupid and say “What what? It’s legal where I come from!!!”.
